This year’s theme of Small Business Week is “SBA: Dream Big, Start Small.” The week’s activities include small business events in Miami, Los Angeles, San Antonio, New York City and culminating in Washington, D.C. where national winners will be recognized and awarded. Additionally, recognition events throughout SBA’s 10 Regions and 68 Districts will be held throughout the months of May and June.
The highlight of Small Business Week in Michigan is the May 7 Michigan Celebrates Small Business event in Lansing, where the Michigan SBA winners for 2015 will be recognized along with the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch, SBAM Innovation Award winner and other awardees.
Every year since 1963, the SBA takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from across the nation through National Small Business Week. As events are finalized more details will be posted on www.sba.gov/smallbusinessweek.
