The Small Business Association of Michigan and Dale Carnegie are proud to jointly announce a new partnership that will provide talent development solutions to SBAM’s 26,000+ member organizations throughout the state of Michigan.
SBAM members now have access to special customized live online training, in a program called SBAM’s Talent Development Training Tools powered by Dale Carnegie. The training organization founded in 1912, Dale Carnegie, has been touted by business leaders like as Warren Buffet, Lee Iacocca, Tom Monaghan, Rich DeVos, CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and millions of other graduates around the world.
“Every day, small businesses are competing with much larger organizations for talented employees,” said Scott Lyon, SBAM’s Senior Vice President. “We speak with small business owners all across Michigan and a common theme is the challenge they face in attracting and retaining the talent they need to be successful. SBAM’s Talent Development Training Tools, powered by Dale Carnegie, provides five very affordable certificate paths that each focus on key outcomes, including being a more effective supervisor, leader, sales person, professional, or customer service representative. Each certificate path is made up of a series of live online training modules that are interactive, empowering, and focused on delivering results. Dale Carnegie training allows our members to keep and develop the talent they already have.”
“It’s an honor to be partnering with SBAM to provide this talent development program to small businesses throughout the state,” said Matthew D. Anderson, Chief Partnership Officer with Dale Carnegie. “SBAM shared the need to provide their members with a solution that will develop and retain talent. SBAM was adamant about only providing a top-notch solution that would be available to all members, regardless of location. Over the past year, we’ve created that solution together.”
SBAM members now have access to customized certificate paths that include as many as 13 hours of live online training, at dramatically reduced pricing. Each module is facilitated by a live instructor who engages directly with each individual, making the learning experiential for the participants.
“Being that this program is offered online, it provides business owners and leaders with the flexibility to develop their talent,” continued Anderson, “with the opportunity to strengthen the skill sets of their people quickly, day or night, and without having to send them away for training.”
