November 11, 2016
“On behalf of our 25,000 businesses across the Great Lakes state, the Small Business Association of Michigan applauds the leadership shown today by the Michigan Senate as they voted to pass the Nofs-Proos energy legislation (Senate Bills 437-438),” said SBAM President and CEO Rob Fowler. “This legislation addresses many of the small business energy issues identified by our members and that are essential to ensuring reliable, clean, and affordable energy. We urge the Michigan House to take up and pass these critical bills before the end of the year.”
The Small Business Association of Michigan is the only statewide, Michigan-based association that focuses solely on serving the needs of Michigan’s small business community. It has been successfully serving small businesses across all sectors in all 83 counties of Michigan since 1969.
