Receiving the honor was state Sen. Kristen McDonald Rivet, state Sen. John DaMoose, state Rep. Kathy Schmaltz and state Rep. Jasper Martus. The legislators were honored for their support and leadership on key issues that affect small businesses in their districts and around the state.

McDonald Rivet, Sen. DaMoose, Rep. Schmaltz and Rep. Martus our 2024 Legislators of the Year.”
The awards were presented on June 13 during SBAM’s annual meeting in Lansing, with more than 400 small business owners in attendance.
The Small Business Association of Michigan focuses solely on serving the needs of Michigan’s small business community through advocacy, collaboration and buying power. Today SBAM serves over 32,000 members in all 83 counties of Michigan.
