On Wednesday, January 1, 2025 the minimum hourly wage in Michigan increased to $10.56 from $10.33. The minimum wage for tipped workers rose to $4.01 from $3.93. The tipped wage, plus tips, must equal at least the regular minimum wage.
On February 21, 2025 another increase will take effect, and rise to $12.48 for regular wages and $5.99 for tipped wages, beginning an annual increase due to a Supreme Court ruling in 2024.
