Nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Small Business Innovation Award – a part of Michigan Celebrates Small Business, a prestigious annual competition that recognizes successful growing businesses and their supporters. The winners will be honored at the 11th annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business event on May 7, 2015.
To be eligible for Innovation award, the product or service must have been developed by the applicant and earned revenue for the first time during the previous three years (from Nov. 2, 2011). Get a nomination form by going to http://www.michigancelebrates.biz/awards/
Other Michigan Celebrates Small Business award categories include the Main Street USA Award, Government Contracting Award, Innovation Award and various SBA Awards (categories to be announced.)
The Michigan 50 Companies to Watch will also be honored at the awards dinner. The 50 Companies to Watch Awards are designed to discover and honor the second-stage companies that make an economic impact in their communities and in the state. Michigan Celebrates is seeking companies known for their marketplace performance, innovation, and vision for growth. Nominations can come from service providers (such as attorneys, bankers, accountants, public relations representatives, economic development professionals, etc.) or companies may apply directly as well.
