Advocacy in Action: Childcare Industry Testimony

SBAM’s Grassroots Coordinator & Policy Advisor, Jacob Manning testified alongside Lindsey Potter, who is the owner of Bright Light Early Care & Education, and is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Childcare Providers Association of Michigan. The two testified in the House Rules Committee and discussed the negative impacts of overregulation and complex rules on small businesses, and how these obstacles create issues particularly in the childcare industry.
