Basso Design Group is known for making Internet marketing efforts interactive with consumers. Now it’s making a name for itself in the latest portion of that market — mobile apps. “We have moved very heavily into mobile app development,” says Greg Basso, managing partner of Basso Design Group. “We have seen a lot of movement toward that in the marketplace.”
That has allowed the nine-year-old Troy-based firm to significantly expand its workforce to 16 employees and two interns. It has hired nine people over the last year and expects to add seven more, such as web designers and developers, over the next year.
