The Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM), the only statewide and state-based association that focuses solely on serving the needs of Michigan’s small business community announced today that 31 new members joined in the past week.
“We are excited to welcome these 31 new members to SBAM’s growing community of over 13,000 member businesses. We believe that small businesses are the engine of Michigan’s economic recovery and supporting these existing companies is our core goal”, said SBAM Vice President of Membership & Development, Dan Mahoney.
These 31 new member businesses represent a diverse offering of products or services, covering everything from industrial belting to heavy construction equipment rentals to mobile devices sales. Also interesting is the regional diversity of this group, representing businesses in Southeast Michigan’s Wayne and Macomb counties, Mid-Michigan’s Genesee and Isabella counties, as well as businesses in Kent, Saint Clair and Washtenaw counties.
Perhaps most impressive is that 24 of these new member businesses joined specifically for one of SBAM’s member-only benefits.
