Small Business Association of Michigan announces staff updates

The Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) has added two new people to its Lansing staff. Ken Root is the new Director of Membership. His duties will include overseeing all membership campaigns, being the liaison to SBAM’s Strategic Partners and managing the SBAM Leadership Council. Abbey Bierlein is the new Associate Development Officer. Her responsibilities will include fundraising and sponsorship solicitation.

SBAM’s Office Manager Mary Stier recently earned her Certified Meeting Professional certification (CMP). The foremost certification of the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry, the CMP program recognizes individuals who have achieved the industry’s highest standard of professionalism.
