2014 Michigan Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference coming up Nov. 12 in East Lansing
July 10, 2014
Small business owners, especially manufacturers, will find value in the sixth Michigan “GreenUp” Conference, designed to be a valuable experience for sharing information, networking, and learning.
The Conference is organized by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
This year’s theme is Cultivating Next Generation Solutions. Green chemistry and engineering are about designing, innovating, and manufacturing what’s next and developing less hazardous, more effective materials, processes, and products. Green chemistry and engineering can help businesses create new markets, reduce costs, increase safety, and gain a competitive edge.
Small businesses can submit an oral or poster presentation abstract (deadline July 11), apply for a Michigan Green Chemistry Governor’s Award (deadline July 18) or become a conference sponsor.
