After weeks of working on the state Senate maps, the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission (ICRC) blazed through a draft map of all 13 congressional districts in a pair of meetings Thursday.
Still, the ICRC is behind its current schedule by a day. It was supposed to complete the congressional maps Wednesday.
The Senate maps were supposed to be done Sept. 9, but a draft was just completed Wednesday. The House maps are scheduled to be completed by Sept. 22, with a vote on draft maps by Sept. 30.
